Sargassum Notes is a series of articles on the pelagic brown algae Sargassum.
They present all the recent and confirmed information on these macroalgae, their development, their deaths, their stranding and their decomposition. They also cover the methods of collection, cleaning of stranding areas and mitigation of strandings and their effects such as the production of decomposition gas without oxygen (H2S and NH3).
